Chapter 1057 of One Piece, which just concluded, marked the end of the 4-year development of the Arc Wano . This arc has attracted numerous attention from the audience due to its epic battles and the abundance of important historical information presented through flashbacks. However, there are still some aspects in the One Piece Arc Wano that have been considered regrettable.

1. Marco had no significant interaction with Luffy

As the last words of Whitebeard dictated, the remnants of his pirate crew were to protect and support Luffy at all costs. Being the first division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Marco was expected to actively fulfill Whitebeard's wish. However, when Marco appeared in Wano, his main role was to hold off King and Queen long enough for Zoro and Sanji to arrive. In the end, Marco leaves without any notice, leaving many fans disappointed.

2. Zoro never had the chance to pay respects to Ryuma

Since the Thriller Bark arc, Roronoa Zoro has had a direct connection with Shimotsuki Ryuma, who was revealed to be the greatest swordsman in Wano's history. Ryuma saw potential in Zoro, which led to the legendary swordsman bestowing the iconic sword Shusui upon him. However, despite carrying the sword through numerous arcs, Zoro never got the opportunity to visit the grave of the legendary swordsman who gifted him the weapon, leaving some fans feeling he has forgotten the one who helped him.

3. Kaido's flashbacks were too brief

From the Dressrosa arc, Donquixote Doflamingo teased the fans that the Wano arc would be incredibly fascinating and contain crucial historical information. However, Kaido, the main antagonist of the Wano arc, failed to deliver much information from the past. The flashbacks of Kaido were too short-lived, leaving fans wanting more depth and exploration.

4. The ending of the Wano arc seemed rushed

The Wano arc of One Piece has been ongoing for about four years. While some readers felt that this duration was too long and wished Oda to move on to another arc, this doesn't mean rushing through the Wano arc to the extent that it makes readers feel the author is hasty. After Kaido's defeat, a grand celebration was held in the Flower Capital, but some fans felt that Oda missed depicting certain crucial scenes. For instance, Zoro's visit to Ryuma's grave was never shown. Thus, many fans believe that Oda could have added 4 to 5 more chapters to Wano to wrap everything up in a more satisfying manner.

5. Yamato didn't join the Straw Hat crew

Yamato has always aspired to follow in the footsteps of Kozuki Oden, wanting to set sail on the sea and explore the world beyond the borders of Wano. Throughout the Wano arc, Yamato expressed a strong desire to join the Straw Hat crew. However, at the end of the arc, Yamato decides to stay behind. This decision divided the fan community for various reasons. First, Oda invested a significant amount of time in building Yamato's character. Thus, if Yamato doesn't join the Straw Hat crew, it may feel like taking away the spotlight from other characters during the battle at Onigashima.
